Philopotomus

Why hello and thank you for taking the time to look at my scribbles. I have been working on writing and drawing my own comic book and although still at a very early stage I hope to self publish in the next year. I tend to draw in a pretty cartoony style, very simplistic with minimal rendering and more emphasis on solid blacks.
I draw much inspiration from artists such as Frank Miller, Bruce Timm, David Mazzuchelli and Tim Sale and also from old school film noir and its stunning use of black and white. I am also a big fan of the art of Jack Kirby, Jim Steranko, Joe Kubert, Alex Ross, Goran Parlov, Steve Dillon, Eduardo Risso, Brian Boland, Dave Gibbons and many many others.
